First Baptist Church - Bicycle Ministry
The First Baptist Church takes in cars, vans, pickups, computers, and bicycles! They fix whatever is needed, and then give it to people in need, from church members that need a little help, to refugees and their families starting over in a new country.
Mr. Hanson oversees the bicycle ministry. He works to repair bicycles for the FBC to distribute. Alex Fairly bought the old Hill's Sport Shop building after it shut down, and very generously donated many new and used bikes and parts to help the bicycle ministry. They are working hard to have bikes ready to give out. Mr. Hanson is a factory-trained bicycle mechanic. He is willing to share his knowledge of bicycle repair! If you’re interested in learning to repair bicycles, please contact First Baptist Church, and ask for him.
